Entrepreneurs change the world for the better. We believe this change can be accelerated if every Founder, CEO, and Entrepreneur would find the best advisor for them. An experienced person, committed to helping them, and familiar with their business.

 I believe anyone who’s been a successful entrepreneur or founder, can name a person, who at some stage ignited a profound change or incepted an ideal, that resulted in something great for the business, the entrepreneur and the world.

Also I think any successful entrepreneur will tell you it gets lonely. There are some issues and ideas that you need to consider, but don’t know with whom. Starting from scratch with an expert, or going to your employees, board, or investors is not always an option. Yet, the issues get better solutions through brainstorming, debate, and bouncing around.

One of the best pieces of advice I got starting my second business was “Make yourself accountable to someone. Report to someone”. This has been a humongous help to myself in later life. While personal accountability is a good virtue to pursue, relying on only yourself makes you(r business) vulnerable.

After years of meeting a lot of founders, entrepreneurs and CEOs, and working with a small portion of them, I’ve become a stronger and stronger advocate for every entrepreneur to have an advisor. The results I’ve seen are remarkable.

The key to getting results is having a common direction. Although the advisor-discussions may revolve largely around day-to-day issues, they have to work towards a set goal in a systematic way, be it business development, operational excellence, or increasing the enterprise value.

The results we’ve seen speak for every entrepreneur having an advisor, but this is unexploited growth hack. And I think it’s simply because most advisors-entrepreneur relationships do not work with a common goal and a systematic methodology.

This got us to thinking, how could we change the perception of an advisor-entrepreneur relationship, and make planning and starting of the relationship easier? Thus was born CEO ONE TO ONE.
